Did you call God today?
Is your life so full of noise and distractions that you find it difficult to listen to the voice of God?
I feel this way sometimes, and it's easy for all of us to.

Ping. Buzz. Ring. Reminder!
In our daily lives, there are so many tasks that we feel that we need to urgently pay attention to. And sometimes, we do. If your boss has a request, you feel the need to complete it. If your child needs help, you feel the need to provide it. If someone sends you a message, you feel the need to respond to it. But guys, just like people around us are pinging us and asking for our time, God is also pulling on our hearts and longing for our attention. He wants us to spend time with Him, and we need Him to live our lives on mission. Do we prioritize that need as much as the needs of this world?
This is something I struggle with too. Lately, I've been running full steam ahead. Between leading my Tim Tebow Foundation family, speaking at events all over the country, working as a college football analyst, and trying to be a servant-hearted husband to Demi, I'll be honest– It can get difficult to take time to be still and spend time with God. There are so many distractions vying for our attention every single day.
But something I've been thinking a lot about lately is no matter how little time we feel like we have or how many distractions are competing for our attention, no task, request or person is more important than time with God!
Have you ever heard the quote, “People make time for who and what they want to make time for”? I think there is some truth to that. Maybe you care about your physical appearance, so you make time to get your nails done. Maybe you care about eating healthy, so you make time to go grocery shopping and prepare meals each week. Maybe you care about your family, so you call your mom every day. And I'm not saying that any of those are things you shouldn't make time for! But because we can't literally see God, because He doesn't pop up on our phones or show up in our email inboxes, it's easy to get caught up in the distractions of this world and neglect what matters most to our daily lives– God's grace, inspiration, help, and encouragement. We need to know Him if we are going to live out His mission for us every day, better pour into those around us, and show up in our lives reflecting His love to the world.
